What does Jesus teach about God’s eternal election in the parable of the Wedding Feast (Matthew 22.1-14)? Does Jesus teach that God chose some to reject the gospel invitation? This parable keeps us on track so that we do not seek our election in the hidden counsel of God (which we can’t know) but that we seek our election in the call of the gospel and the means of grace.
