Good Works in the Athanasian Creed?

On Trinity Sunday we confess the Athanasian Creed in the Divine Service. Someone asks, “Does the Athanasian Creed teach salvation by your own works or by faith in Christ?” We’ll take a look at the language of the Creed, where that language comes from, and if it is correct to read these verses as teaching that we justified by our works instead of faith.
